Author biography

Ron Day is an East Tennessee author whose Redemption Falls series blends Appalachian Gothic atmosphere, supernatural suspense, and regional folklore. Raised in Blount County, Tennessee, he grew up absorbing the stories, people, and traditions of the mountains. His great-grandfather shared stories of mountain healing, sin-eaters, and inherited folk knowledge during fishing trips and walks to the creek. Before becoming a published novelist, Ron spent 14 years in radio, learning to speak to a large audience as though addressing a single listener. That intimacy carries into his fiction through sensory detail and a strong sense of place. His fictional town of Redemption Falls draws on the roads, hollows, churches, family conversations, and personalities he remembers from East Tennessee. At the center of the series is Donna Miller, whose courage is defined by what she does despite fear. Ron is also developing Hooks, an upcoming supernatural crime-thriller series.
